Chapter 30: The End, The Beginning
On the drive home, Val called her agent and informed her of the decision to take the role. Contracts would be emailed right away for her to sign. It was really happening. She tapped the Bluetooth button on her steering wheel.
“Call Kendra.”
The phone rang four times before someone picked up. From the sounds in the background, Val guessed that she was at yet another party. Oh to be young.
“Hey Val! What’s up, girl?” Val laughed to herself.
“Pack your bags, we’re going to London.”
