Greetings from sunny Baltimore, my lovelies! I’m back with Jenn LeBlanc – another brand new FoX – who is here to share with us her new release, The Sadist and the Stolen Princess. Before we dive into the book, I asked Jenn some fun questions.
How long have you been writing?
I’ve been telling stories my entire life, but it wasn’t until I was trapped in front of a computer with a nursing baby that I became adept enough to type as fast as my brain thinks. Even so it was years until I finished my first manuscript in 2009.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be?
Paris (ahhh, Paris) It’s just beautiful.
I agree!! I want to go back so badly.
What dish, when you prepare it, has everyone asking for seconds?
My kids always loved this fettuccine, lemon chicken thing which is a boiled pot of fettuccine tossed in a pan with (cooked) cubed chicken breast, a ton of Parmesan, lemon, and butter until everything is brown and sticky.. I don’t exactly make it anymore because… well.
It sounds delicious, though. What one, golden piece of advice would you give to an aspiring author?
Write what you want to read.
Yes! I always say that. 🙂 So, what inspired you to write your latest release?
Oh, he was the baddest of the bad in my previous book, and it isn’t as much a redemption story as it is a story of atonement. It’s a slight difference, but there is a difference. It was SUPER fun making this powerful man grovel and atone over and over, to everyone in his life.
I love it! Sounds like a great read. How do you balance writing and your personal life?
Not very well. I moved from Denver to Los Angeles three years ago so my personal life didn’t quite come with me. I try to get out of the house at least once a week, just for sunshine and humanity.
That must have been a little bit of culture shock. Yay for sunshine and humanity!
In Victorian London a scarred duke must protect the stranger he kidnapped—from himself—until he can figure out to whom she belongs. Once he does, however, the only way to protect the women he has fallen for, is to give her up… forever
